Privacy Policy

• We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.
• Everything the camera sees is processed on your device and never leaves it.
• There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

Camera. The live camera feed and any photo you capture are read entirely on your iPhone using on-device text recognition to find the price. Images and video are never uploaded to us, saved to any server, or shared with anyone.

Scan history.Recent scans are saved only in the app's storage on your phone. We cannot see them. You can delete individual entries or clear the whole history in the app, and removing the app deletes them.

Settings. Your home and trip currency and your preferences are stored locally on your device.

Exchange rates only. To keep conversions current, the app periodically downloads a table of daily exchange rates from its rate service. That request is for public rate data. It does not include your identity, your scans, your photos, your location, or any personal information.

If no rate service is configured, the app converts using exchange rates bundled with it and makes no network requests at all.

Kahei is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
